American forests are under attack
Trump is targeting over 112 million acres of America’s National Forests for logging
10.5 million acres of wilderness areas
25.7 million acres of roadless areas
6 million acres of wetlands

2,500 miles of wild and scenic rivers, threatening drinking water, recreation, and native species
More than 77,000 miles - that's 50% - of National Forest System trails cherished by outdoor enthusiasts across the country
20 million acres of designated critical habitat for threatened and endangered species
The USDA does not offer a definition of or evidence that there is any “emergency” across this vast landscape to warrant such indiscriminate logging. This is little more than a cynical attempt to justify the destructive resource grab called for in Trump’s executive orders to boost timber production.
These forests and trees are irreplaceable. Once cut, our largest, oldest trees will take centuries to regrow to their former glory - longer than a human lifetime and much more time than we have to lose in the midst of the climate crisis.
